Terms of Service

These Terms explain the rules for using the Pearl's Pot website, customer accounts, ordering tools, payment options, and related services.

By creating an account, placing an order, or using the Pearl's Pot platform, you agree to these Terms of Service.

1. About Pearl's Pot

Pearl's Pot operates an online food ordering platform for customers who want to place pickup or delivery orders. The business is located at National Highway - Runway, P. Vicente St, Puerto Princesa, 5300 Palawan, Philippines.

2. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

You must provide accurate, current, and complete information when signing up or placing an order. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for activity that happens through your account unless you report unauthorized access promptly.

  • Do not share your login credentials with another person.
  • Keep your contact number, email, and address details updated.
  • Do not use the site for fake orders, spam, fraud, or abusive conduct.

3. Orders and Acceptance

When you place an order, it is treated as a request to purchase and not as an automatic acceptance by Pearl's Pot. An order becomes accepted only after it is reviewed and confirmed through the system or by staff.

  • Orders may be rejected due to unavailable items, failed payment verification, or suspicious activity.
  • Displayed schedules are requests and may still be adjusted based on actual capacity.
  • Technical or pricing errors may be corrected before final acceptance.

4. Product Availability and Pricing

We try to keep menu details accurate, but some items may become unavailable without prior notice. Prices, portion sizes, and packaging may change when reasonably necessary.

If a listing contains an obvious pricing or system error, Pearl's Pot may correct the information or cancel the affected order before fulfillment.

5. Pickup and Delivery

Pearl's Pot may offer pickup, delivery, or both, depending on store operations. Customers must provide correct order, address, and contact information.

  • Pickup customers should arrive within a reasonable period after confirmation or readiness notice.
  • Delivery customers must provide an accurate and reachable address and contact number.
  • Delays may happen due to traffic, weather, order volume, or events outside our control.

6. Scheduled Orders

If our system allows a preferred date or time, that choice is treated as a requested schedule unless Pearl's Pot specifically confirms it.

We may adjust, reject, or reschedule a requested time slot based on store hours, ingredient availability, operational volume, or safety concerns.

7. Payment Methods

Pearl's Pot may accept Cash on Pickup, Cash on Delivery, GCash QR, or any other payment option shown on the site at checkout.

You agree to submit truthful payment information and valid order details.

8. Manual GCash Verification

If you select GCash QR, you may be asked to upload proof of payment and provide a reference number, sender name, and sender number.

  • Payment proof uploads do not automatically confirm an order.
  • Orders remain subject to manual verification by Pearl's Pot.
  • We may reject a GCash payment if the proof is incomplete, altered, duplicated, inconsistent, or unverifiable.

9. Cancellations and Refunds

Customer cancellation requests and approved refunds are handled according to our Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Pearl's Pot may cancel or reject orders for inventory issues, fraud prevention, failed payment verification, incorrect customer details, unsafe delivery conditions, or other valid business reasons.

10. Food Safety and Allergy Notice

Customers are responsible for reviewing menu descriptions and informing Pearl's Pot of known allergies or dietary restrictions before ordering.

Unless clearly stated otherwise, Pearl's Pot does not guarantee that any product is completely free from allergens or cross-contact in a kitchen environment.

11. Customer Conduct

You must not use the platform to:

  • submit false orders or fake proofs of payment
  • harass staff or other users
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts or systems
  • upload malicious, fraudulent, or unlawful content

12. Service Availability

Pearl's Pot does not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or continuously available. The platform may be updated, maintained, restricted, or temporarily unavailable from time to time.

13. Limitation of Liability

To the extent allowed by law, Pearl's Pot shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from service interruptions, unavailable items, incorrect customer information, third-party outages, or events beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing in these Terms removes consumer rights that apply under Philippine law.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines.

15. Changes to These Terms

Pearl's Pot may update these Terms of Service from time to time. The updated version will take effect once posted on the website with a revised date.
